I also try to schedule posts then panic that I've not done things right and have to check too! You've had a good month Jen and I can just imagine the glorious colours down your way as they're lovely here at the moment.
I'm surprised that others are saying they do this I though it was only me! Our autumn colours are just starting to show and are lovely. The hot weather held them back for a while.
"The night before a scheduled post is due to be published, I can’t resist opening it up for just one more read. That usually means there are changes I’d like to make, and off I go reading, rereading and rewriting posts." HI, Jenn 0 This could be a page from my own diary --- word for word! <3 If you ever find a cure for this, please let me know.
I'm sure it's very busy up your way at Easter. We have been trying to fit in a visit to the family but it's just not happening at the moment. Some time over winter hopefully to get a bit of sun.
That puzzle sounds too small. I'm too impatient (and my eye sight too bad) to do that. I look forward to seeing what you get! I love you take your dog for a ride - mine would HATE that tho. She doesn't even like the car!
I'm in awe of those of you who do the A-Z blogging challenge. I'm not yet organized or dedicated enough to tackle it. I love Oscar's bicycle basket and am so glad he seemed to enjoy it. Happy cycling!
Jennifer, Sounds like you've had a very good April. I also tend to reread and rewrite an already scheduled post. It's great that Oscar can ride with you. He looks adorable in the photo. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
I thought about the A to Z challenge but I was not organized enough. If, and it's a huge if, I get caught up reading other blogs I must go into yours and explore. These posts would be so up my alley and I would love to delve into how you write you history up. We also had a quiet Easter and this Easter break week as well. Isn't fall a lovely time of year. I always enjoy it as well. Take care. Bernie
Fall/autumn is the best Bernie. My tip to make a success of the AtoZ Challenge and not stress your self out is to be organised. I usually start drafting posts in June and try to have them complete by the end of December. There's always those last minute finishing touches though.
Sometimes it is nice to be home for a while after travelling, Jen but you didn't really rest did you! I admire you with your continued contribution to the A to Z challenge and hear you about doing last minute edits even when the post is fine the way it is. I'm sure the topic you chose would be so interesting not just for the reader but for yourself and what you find in your research. thanks for sharing at #WBOYC? and have a lovely May x
I have loved my AtoZ theme this year Sue. It's probably been my favourite so far. I'm thinking I might do it on here next year but not sure yet. We have been enjoying being at home. I have six weeks away in June/July to look forward to but just now down time is lovely.

I'm sure I won't find the cure Donna. My partner tells me to just leave it alone but I just can't do it. Relieved to hear I'm not the only one.
Autumn is my favourite time of year too and I really miss it here. We also tend to hibernate at Easter when the coast is full of tourists.

And I hardly write in the summer months of June July and August!
You could always start at the end of summe Bernie. I'll convince you to join us yet.
