Happy 70th! I share a few traits with you like the chocolate, cycling and quilting (I started late in life and am still at it). I have been to Bendigo as we have friends who live there. I live in Canada and love all four seasons. You've had some hard family knocks in life but at your age you know that life is not fair. I didn't know many other people who have that many blogs as I do, another thing we have in common! I will be checking them out. Take care. I am here on Substrack but rarely post.
Hello Bernie. Thank you for your comments. Yes, it does seem that we have quite a bit in common. I'm fairly sure I have visited your blog Sometimes I get a bit forgetful about the name of the blogger. Could you please give me your link and I'll subscribe.
Happy birthday!! One of the things I'm looking to do someday is the Camino in Spain. I think that might my kid's graduation gift -- we leave for Spain after graduation to do the Camino. Thank you so much for sharing your 70 things!
Happy birthday, Jennifer! Thank you for your weekend coffee share with 70 things about you. I think it's awesome that you visited Canada four times, considering that you live in Australia (long flights). What parts of Canada did you visit and what are your favourite things about Canada?
Hi Natalie. Each trip was much the same but different seasons. Vancouver, Rocky Mountain Railway to Banff, And Lake Louise and back to Banff. Then to Victoria Island. All trips were wonderful. I’d love to go in your direction and also to Newfoundland one day. I loved the snow and the people were very friendly. I loved the parks in and around Vancouver and Victoria Island. Cross country skiing in winter and hiking in summer.
Happy birthday Jen! I loved this post. Thanks so much for sharing these fun facts about you. Your volunteer work sounds so interesting. I've been thinking I would like to volunteer more regularly, but have not yet found the right fit. Something along the lines of what you are doing sounds intriguing. Also, my mother did a lot of genealogy. We used to work on it together, so I have a pretty extensive family tree and a collection of legal records and photographs.
Happy Birthday! I loved reading the 70 things about you. I, too, have a passion for family tree research, even though I've stopped working on mine I can soon get caught up in it again if someone contacts me about it. Hope you have a fabulous day celebrating.
Happy, Happy birthday Jen and what a wonderful way to celebrate documenting 70 things about yourself. You have certainly led an interesting and full life and proven how resilient you are. I hope you enjoy retirement and that you can have the time to do all you still want to do in life. Enjoy your 70th year x
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!! I hope you're having a wonderful day. Oh my gosh - I've learnt so much more about you from reading this post. So much I didn't know. You've had a very full life so far including some very tough times which I'm so sorry to read. I didn't know you were a PT and so many things I didn't know about you. What a fabulous post. I might do a similar one for when I turn 60 in May. I hope your 70's are fun and adventurous and more than you could ever have hoped for! Thank you for linking up with #WWWhimsy - enjoy your birthday - drag it out for a week or so! xo
Thank you so much for your lovely comments Min, and your kind birthday wishes. I would love you to do a similar post for your 60th. I’d definitely enjoy reading it.
Thank you so much Denyse. 70 has given me a bit of a wake up call about taking care of myself. Hopefully I will be able to motor on as well as you do. Loving connecting on Substack x
Happy belated birthday, Jennifer - it's wonderful to learn what you've accomplished!
Thank you Daniel

Happy Birthday! I also love summer and hate the winter.. though I'm trying to come to terms with the fact that I live in a snowy/wintery area.
That’s difficult Joanne. Here we have it very hot in summer and very cold in winter.fortunately no snow
Thanks Deb. We’re having a lovely time
