I have jumped into the 100 Days of Joy Challenge, setting out to focus on finding and nurturing joy in the everyday moments. By the time I reach the 100th day on December 9, 2024, I hope to have a deeper connection with those little bursts of happiness we often overlook.
I will be doing this challenge as one photo each day, so there will be mostly photos and few words.
Day 1/100
This succulent is one of my favourites and sits on my patio table. This is it’s first flower.
Day 2/100
Using up two sugar free cake mixes that were in my pantry and close to their use by date. Most of them went into the freezer. They may be sugar free but they are so good.
Day 3/100
I decided it was time to try to get back on the bike again, as my knee had been feeling much better. I had been in the garden, and just grabbed the bike and went out onto the bike path for a quick ride. Much to my surprise, the knee handled the cycling really well, and I’m now looking forward to riding regularly again.
Day 4/100
First flowers on the magnolia that sits in my front garden. This small tree, with it’s delicate flowers, always lets me know that spring has arrived
Day 5/100
It’s always fun taking Oscar shopping at Bunnings. I’m sure he feels like a celebrity with all the pats he gets from strangers.
Day 6/100
The Lotus Flower sculpture sits in the forecourt of the Golden Dragon Chinese Museum. I walk past it often and it makes me smile every time.
Day 7/100
I smiled to see this bed of beautiful spring ranunculas flowering in one of the areas that I walk. Spring has definitely arrived.
Where have you been finding the joy in your days? I’d love to hear what sparks joy for you. Leave me a comment and I will definitely reply

Biking always brings me joy. Hope it continues to be all right with your knee. I 've never had any of my succulents bloom so well done. And as to chocolate cake --- well it's always a winner!
Oscar!!! He’s adorable đŸ¥°
